C.O.R.E.  =  Conservation Outdoor Recreation Education
This coures is required by the Province of BC in order for you to obtain your first hunting license within BC.

The course costs $120. 
This covers the book, 32 hours of instruction, and the examination fee.

Course covers 4 days which is usually 2 weekends.

When both examinations (practical and written) have been successfully completed, the examiner will give the student a copy of the results of the exam. The student must send this form, along with a $30 administration fee payable to the BCWF, to obtain a graduation certificate, which can then be presented to the Government Agent at Services BC to obtain a hunter number card.


P.A.L.  =  Possession Acquisition License
This course is a Federal requirement to get a firearms license to be in possession and acquire firearms.

This covers the book, 8 hours (1 day) of instruction and the examination fee.
